Nose-to-Tail Health Check
At Adorable Teacup Puppies Home, we conduct a thorough “nose-to-tail” health check for all our puppies. This comprehensive examination involves assessing every aspect of the puppy’s health and well-being.Starting from the nose, we examine for any signs of congestion, discharge, or abnormalities in the nasal passages. Moving to the eyes, we check for clarity, discharge, signs of infection, and ensure proper alignment.
Next, we examine the ears for cleanliness, signs of infection, and proper functioning. We also inspect the mouth for healthy gums, teeth alignment, and any indications of dental issues.
Continuing down the body, we check the skin and coat for any abnormalities, such as rashes, lumps, or parasites. We palpate the abdomen to assess for any tenderness or abnormalities in the internal organs.
Moving to the limbs, we evaluate joint mobility, muscle tone, and signs of any injuries or lameness. Finally, we assess the tail for any injuries or abnormalities.
Throughout this thorough examination, we ensure that our puppies are healthy, happy, and ready to join their new families with confidence.
